In the 7th minute of the match, Jairo Baraquiel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Vittori saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Jairo Baraquiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Italy's Eliseo Cutri got a free kick in the 16th minute. Placido Claris's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Claris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Placido Claris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lawrence Lawless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute of play. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute Jairo Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Mazon kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Baraquiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Baraquiel in the 55th minute of the match. Kong Chen Xuan made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Txartiko in the 70th minute of play. Lawrence Lawless made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Kong Chen Xuan made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. The Descamisados CF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
