Caetano Moreira scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izydor Wolnik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Augusto Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Augusto Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Izydor Wolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 31st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cyprian Pracki in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. Evaristo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Cyprian Orling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MS Rybnik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Fernandez in the 94th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MS Rybnik had played much better football throughout.
