Danny Jumel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Lars Meesters was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tyler Willmott kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Le Saux in the 21st minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Gloucester City AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sven-Åke Petersson sent off a good shot on target. When David Eikelkamp came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Eikelkamp couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Tyler Willmott put in a rough tackle. 36 minutes into the game, one of Gloucester City AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gloucester City AFC:s Danny Jumel showed great skill when he stopped Gijsbert ter Kruimer:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Puja got free with Arnout Reekers in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erik Puja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere.
The wind increased when Wes Carragher made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Gloucester City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Danny Jumel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute, Wes Carragher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danny Jumel, 1-4. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Danny Jumel made a huge save. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
