Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chris Nygaard made the kick off which started today's match. The throw-in from Guido Abel in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. When David Corderun fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave David Corderun a yellow card for diving instead. David Corderun hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Soin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. David Corderun made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arnaldo Soin. Arnaldo Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Mathias Ludvigsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosendo Iraido. Candelaria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 16th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mikkel Wulff came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikkel Wulff couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Iraido was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Candelaria FC's Rosendo Iraido. Rosendo Iraido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Iraido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rosendo Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zdzislaw Janiczek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark's attentive Bjarne Kirkegaard managed to snatch the ball when Guido Abel made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Rosendo Iraido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Iraido came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Soin in the 72nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Rosendo Iraido in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Iraido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Buinton in the 85th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Iraido came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's attentive Bjarne Kirkegaard managed to snatch the ball when Guido Abel made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Rosendo Iraido made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. Denmark played a much better game than Candelaria FC and deserved their victory. The Candelaria FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
