In the 4th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Friebe in the 7th minute of the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Gärsnäs BF were awarded a corner. Dane Friebe went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Gärsnäs BF's corner Dane Friebe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keld Paulsen quite easily take care of the ball. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederick Griscti came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keld Paulsen could save by the left post. In the 17th play minute Frederick Griscti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Keld Paulsen. 1-0. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 23rd minute of play. Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dane Friebe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keld Paulsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Dane Friebe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dane Friebe. In the 35th minute of the match Gärsnäs BF got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dane Friebe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frederick Griscti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Keld Paulsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gärsnäs BF's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 played minutes Gärsnäs BF got a freekick which was hit by George Hägglund. The Gärsnäs BF fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kenn Skou hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dane Friebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gärsnäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dane Friebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Gärsnäs BF from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Ingmar Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederick Griscti in the 62nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Frederick Griscti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Frederick Griscti made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After having played for 74 minutes, Frederick Griscti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärsnäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederick Griscti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Steen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wang Cheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. After 82 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. Frederick Griscti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frederick Griscti came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gärsnäs BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederick Griscti couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gärsnäs BF were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
