The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Tristan Lannister recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Tristan Lannister showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The nice shot from Tristan Lannister in the 8thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fodor Daniel had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 9th minute Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy were awarded a corner. Ciccio Kowalczyk went to the cornerflag to take it. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciccio Kowalczyk couldn't finish the play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Tristan Lannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciccio Kowalczyk was slow to take the kick. During this time Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Zbyszek Le Bonniec heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 33rd minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tristan Lannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antal Valentin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tristan Lannister to make the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Lannister in the 50th minute of play. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Tristan Lannister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Gustaw Nowak in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Lannister in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaw Nowak made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Hegedus Henrik sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Nowak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball.
