In the 29th minute, Ove Lindström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 39th minute, Wictor Gudmundsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Auer. The goal made the score 4-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Ove Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JoynickFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Schneider struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. André Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austria. André Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Harrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Galishoff to make the kick off. If Ove Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ove Lindström in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. D.J. Bobek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Lindström in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Fabio Schneider notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of JoynickFC's André Sjöberg. André Sjöberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marvin Harrer made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by JoynickFC's Ingvar Bergvall. If Ove Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Harrer hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marvin Harrer hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Harrer to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes, JoynickFC's Per-Olof Tunström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabio Auer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JoynickFC reached it. JoynickFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
