Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off and thus started the match. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mendoza Vall in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CORSARIO's Mendoza Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 10th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mendoza Vall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. In the 20th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendoza Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillem Casanoves came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Vittori could save by the left post. 23 minutes into the game, Sigfrido Auletta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mendoza Vall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sostene Vitulli hit a great ball. Beto Márcico in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in CORSARIO's zone, Gianpaolo Mascari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mendoza Vall came out of the goal and Gianpaolo Mascari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, CORSARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Mendoza Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mendoza Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CORSARIO's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mendoza Vall came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of CORSARIO booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gomberto Picozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Vittori acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Júlio Cardoso. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Petito to make the kick off. With a little luck, CORSARIO's Mendoza Vall got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, CORSARIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Heraña to maneuver through the defense. Sigfrido Auletta took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mendoza Vall. Mendoza Vall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Groșan in the 73rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Elia Petito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Mendoza Vall in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CORSARIO's You De managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sansone Vanella in the 91 minute of the game. Aurelio Heraña hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by CORSARIO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Siricio Liotta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Italy's Guiscardo Davide getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
