When Pascual Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Modestio couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Dominix took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Kan. Oliver Kan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Juan Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Oliver Kan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Kan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Dominix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ambrosio Dominix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Oliver Kan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Calle Nordal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Felipe Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Oliver Kan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. In the 44th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Bastos to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Ambrosio Dominix in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Raul Caetano. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Venerando in the 65th minute of play. Oliver Kan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs's Oliver Kan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs from getting a goal against them. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Oliver Kan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Ambrosio Dominix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Dominix in the 90th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs fully deserved thier win.
