An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Miltos Kotsovolos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 28th minute, Hegedus Henrik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakos Endre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Pegasas Siauliai were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
