Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Teobaldo Rosario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Godofredo Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after C. S. D. Pueyrredón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Godofredo Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Katona Janos in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Godofredo Bras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Matia in the 18th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Hungary's Antal Valentin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute C. S. D. Pueyrredón were awarded a corner. Alejandro Berto went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alejandro Berto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Hungary booed when C. S. D. Pueyrredón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Godofredo Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Godofredo Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Berto in the 41st minute of the match. Alejandro Berto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to C. S. D. Pueyrredón getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edgardo Montxo hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Rosario was the one to do the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Matia in the 51st minute of play. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Alejandro Berto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Rosario in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when C. S. D. Pueyrredón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Eutor hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godofredo Bras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. Godofredo Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, C. S. D. Pueyrredón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Berto to maneuver through the defense. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Halil İbrahim Yeltekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil İbrahim Yeltekin in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Halil İbrahim Yeltekin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The C. S. D. Pueyrredón players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
