The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Sikola got free with Arnout Reekers in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Herbert Augustyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Gendolla in the 26th minute of the match. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Teobald Sikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS's Jiang Zhen Qiang. Jiang Zhen Qiang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Zhen Qiang saved STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS from getting behind. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Gendolla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jiang Zhen Qiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes in the game, Wim Wilmes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jiang Zhen Qiang having to interfere. After 71 played minutes STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS got a freekick which was hit by Przemyslaw Piesciuk. Ignacy Banach struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS. After 76th play minutes Teobald Sikola shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Arnout Reekers and just under the crossbar into goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ignacy Banach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacy Banach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jiang Zhen Qiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Sobczak in the 93rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The STORMTROOPERS ON GRASS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
