After recieving a nice pass, Mitnarotov FC's Lenílson Velasco tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Walmir Quintal, made in the 5th minute of the game. Almir Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Christiano Valladares threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 9 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Usain Bolt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mitnarotov FC's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Bertram Svenningsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Almir Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keld Paulsen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Keld Paulsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Mitnarotov FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Siqueira. Almir Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the game Christiano Valladares made a throw-in which Walmir Quintal played forward. If Usain Bolt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denmark's Olav Graversen got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 54th minute of play forced Mitnarotov FC's goalkeeper Almir Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Lars Steen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Almir Miranda but with some difficulty. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Miranda having to interfere. Mitnarotov FC's Almir Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mitnarotov FC from getting a goal against them. When Bertram Svenningsen came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Almir Miranda in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almir Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Christiano Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Almir Miranda made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 82 minutes, Lenílson Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mitnarotov FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulysses de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulysses de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The long shot by Chris Nygaard in the 84th minute really tested Almir Miranda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Mitnarotov FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Germano Siqueira hit a great ball. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mitnarotov FC throughout the match.
