Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stacey Banning's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. River tu grato nombre's Cameron Bartley managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 12 minute of the game. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Stacey Banning dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stacey Banning in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Garaona Aranguiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stacey Banning in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Roman Holder hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Frank Sachs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Francesco skillfully saved the ball. River tu grato nombre's Cameron Bartley quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 89th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bon Scott in the 91st minute of play. Eulalio Francesco made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Germany booed when River tu grato nombre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garaona Aranguiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the River tu grato nombre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
