Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Walmyr Linhares came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Linhares having to interfere. Régis Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of INTER FC's Walmyr Linhares. Walmyr Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mikkel Wulff struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Walmyr Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Keld Paulsen stood somewhat misplaced when Régis Jacinto came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 27 minute. A sloppy throw-in by Moisés Neves in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Mikkel Wulff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Linhares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Jânio Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis Jacinto to make the kick off. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Walmyr Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. In the 64th minute, Lars Steen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After a defensive mix-up in INTER FC's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Linhares came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Walmyr Linhares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Ludvigsen to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of INTER FC's Walmyr Linhares. Walmyr Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walmyr Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 87th minute of the match. Bertram Svenningsen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 88th playminute.
