Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Clemente Manco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Manco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Defensores del Albinegro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Defensores del Albinegro's Clemente Manco managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Ulrich Stein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Manco was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Sven Krakouer charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Defensores del Albinegro's Clemente Manco got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line.
