After some careless play in the Tirant lo Blanch defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kamal Pahlevi. The Tirant lo Blanch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamal Pahlevi should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kamal Pahlevi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmen Paniagua charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmen Paniagua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carmen Paniagua kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gianpaolo Mascari managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siricio Liotta. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siricio Liotta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Tirant lo Blanch from getting a goal against them. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porziano Marchitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Kamal Pahlevi made a huge save.
