Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Yakov Blokhin sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Baños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. After 11 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniil Nikeshin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Новгород TS's Máté Brothers to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Viviano Baños came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Tord Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Germany were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Новгород TS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. 32 minutes into the match, Mma Clan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yakov Blokhin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yakov Blokhin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Новгород TS the free kick. After 51 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 64th minute Viviano Baños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ulrich Stein made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Albin Holweck immediately put the ball in play. Albin Holweck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Germany's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Новгород TS's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Åkerman came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute of the match Новгород TS got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniil Nikeshin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniil Nikeshin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viviano Baños in the 93rd minute of the match. Новгород TS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniil Nikeshin in the 96th minute.
