Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Agne Björk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Mellberg saved Sundens BK from getting behind. In the 88th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Björk to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sundens BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
