In the 6th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ekinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dursun Ekinci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Dursun Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the MERT FC defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dursun Ekinci. The MERT FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dursun Ekinci should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ekinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When MERT FC's Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Stålberg in the 32nd minute. Dursun Ekinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Ekinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Bakos Endre fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Bakos Endre a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Bakos Endre got a free kick in the 41st minute. Dursun Ekinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dursun Ekinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Naci Kaynak came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Stålberg in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 61st minute MERT FC were awarded a corner. Günay Doğanay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Günay Doğanay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. 67 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Naci Kaynak came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes, Szekeres Tamas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the MERT FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fodor Daniel had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Rıfkı Hazarbeyoğlu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Raik Ağın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Stålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Dursun Ekinci in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes MERT FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Caciulescu. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by MERT FC's Naci Kaynak. But to his dismay, Naci Kaynak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Daniel Stålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hungary walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
