Chevaliers FC's Nikola Vlašić got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Navarro came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristinel Pandele in the 29th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Chevaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Niculae Ailenei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Pandele in the 38th minute of the match. Antonio Navarros short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chris-George Chevalier struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevaliers FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. When Nikola Vlašić came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Chevaliers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Vlašić couldn't finish the play. Chris Chevalier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Chevaliers FC's Cristinel Pandele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Niculae Ailenei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 69th minute of the match. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chevaliers FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Chevaliers FC's Calvin Huff got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when Chevaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikola Vlašić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Navarro scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Navarro in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Nikola Vlašić might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikola Vlašić ran back to his position shaking his head. Katona Janos's late challenge caught a Chevaliers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Katona Janos helped the player get up and apologised. Katona Janos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Antonio Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
