Smelling Cats FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mujahid Singh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Merlin Choy went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Merlin Choy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic stood somewhat misplaced when Merlin Hsin came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Hsin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saved Serbia from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Hafriz Ee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Choy in the 33rd minute of play. Merlin Choy didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 33rd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Merlin Choy ran dejectedly back to his position. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Choy in the 36th minute of play. If Albert Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borjan Golubovic to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Merlin Choy took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to make any attempt to save it. Borjan Golubovic kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Khairul Vijiaratnam with Mujahid Singh as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 60th minute, Alexander Phua made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 63 minutes into the match, Mujahid Singh notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Smelling Cats FC made a substitution. Amirul Ee replaced Merlin Hsin. 69 minutes into the match, Shahiran Gopala Pillai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shahiran Gopala Pillai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shahiran Gopala Pillai went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Choy in the 86th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Shahiran Gopala Pillai sped through Serbia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merlin Choy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Smelling Cats FC's Merlin Choy. But to his dismay, Merlin Choy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Mujahid Singh scored 13-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Smelling Cats FC fully deserved thier win.
