The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Amorim could save by the left post. Rodolfo Miranda lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Portugal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! After a long run with the ball, Mathias Alrot did a trick in the 20th minute in front of Portugal's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. Norrlands Athen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The throw-in from Henrik Stor in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Viriato Moura. Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nicolás Castillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 72nd match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qian Zhen Sheng to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Manfred Fribäck threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipinho Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gilbert Hermansson scored 3-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norrlands Athen had won after a very even match.
