Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zaccheo Andolina got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 18 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Åberg came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigfrido Auletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ingemar Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Guido Python who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Deodato Magliozzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italy and the Protegéerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Italy's Deodato Magliozzi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 45th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Skarkman made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Fernando Arango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Fernando Arango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute, Cosme Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg. Ingemar Åberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Protegéerna's Jonny Ånger was substituted for Yasen Súlov. Cosme Demesio made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernando Arango however managed to control. In the 65th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo-César Maldini to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Paolo-César Maldini got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ingemar Åberg was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Zaccheo Andolina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zaccheo Andolina really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 76th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingemar Åberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
