The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Howard Lovecraft hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes of play, MAVARK - Działoszyn's Grzegorz Gdaniec made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barnaba Wachna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MAVARK - Działoszyn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dariusz Motowski in the 14th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Grzegorz Gdaniec heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 18th minute, Lars Meesters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tymoteusz Ruszczyk scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barnaba Wachna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grzegorz Gdaniec scored 3-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tymoteusz Ruszczyk in the 36th minute. MAVARK - Działoszyn's Barnaba Wachna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MAVARK - Działoszyn's Sylwester Soszka got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. A collision led to MAVARK - Działoszyn getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Krzysztof Pawlak hit a great ball. The nice shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 56thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Barnaba Wachna had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, MAVARK - Działoszyn's goalkeeper Barnaba Wachna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAVARK - Działoszyn's goalkeeper Barnaba Wachna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MAVARK - Działoszyn's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gustaaf Groeneveldt 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. The supporters of Netherlands booed when MAVARK - Działoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Soszka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Barnaba Wachna in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to MAVARK - Działoszyn getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sylwester Soszka hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grzegorz Gdaniec scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Wachna having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of MAVARK - Działoszyn booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MAVARK - Działoszyn.
