After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Fidel Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Gubbhöft's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Salkvist got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 34th match minute before Tommy Kahn had time to react. Ove Salkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BK Gubbhöft's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Jonasson came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Hydén struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Gubbhöft. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sten Hydén notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Ove Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The BK Gubbhöft fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum was substituted for Ove Salkvist. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Hans-Georg Luabunnum notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidel Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 90th minute Hans-Georg Luabunnum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BK Gubbhöft's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
