Luiz Fabiano Pitta was slow to take the kick. During this time Dr Lecter SC's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd minute, Wanderson Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Santiago Sartori in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dr Lecter SC's Luiz Fabiano Pitta. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corneliu Dridu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Trevisan having to interfere. 57 minutes in the game, Omar Toledo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Celso Trevisan having to interfere. Spain were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Dr Lecter SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon Cubero took the corner. Spain's Jonathan Criado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celso Trevisan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Spain's Sergio Ruiz got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Ruiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Pau Herrero sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero got a free kick in the 89th minute. Dr Lecter SC's Luiz Vale was substituted for Ma Wei Jun. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Fedele Di Fabrizio replaced Corneliu Dridu. In the 90th minute, Mauro Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pau Herrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Celso Trevisan made a huge save. When Spain's Sergio Ruiz in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dr Lecter SC's goalie prevented a goal.
