England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szuperbeton the free kick. Szuperbeton's Yoeri Laureijs was substituted for Thibaud De kaiser. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillaume Lanckneus to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paul-Louis Wauters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Volodymyr Zelenskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Kyle Cox came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Cox couldn't finish the play. England's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
