The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Denis Dostal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Denis Dostal hit a great ball. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstanty Pilarski in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Erik Jilek came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. When Svatopluk Capek fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. David Rusil's late challenge caught a FC Saxon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Rusil helped the player get up and apologised. David Rusil kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Wojciech Korytkowski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Wojciech Korytkowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Jilek in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Witwicki saved FC Saxon from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Pilarski in the 69th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svatopluk Capek hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Erik Jilek took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dariusz Witwicki to make any attempt to save it. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Pilarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
