Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Dawid Bielejewski in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Witwicki saved FC Saxon from getting behind. FC Saxon's Dariusz Witwicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes in the game Lukasz Adamowicz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dawid Bielejewski. In the 47th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Graversen to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kajetan Gurgul fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Saxon's protests and gave Kajetan Gurgul a yellow card for diving instead. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Dariusz Witwicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute.
