Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ladislao Gerazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Horaţiu Măcrinici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 9 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ladislao Gerazan sent off a good shot on target. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Ladislao Gerazan took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. When Horaţiu Măcrinici came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Măcrinici couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Ladislao Gerazan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Gerazan in the 31st minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 39th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horaţiu Măcrinici made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Gerazan came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Horaţiu Măcrinici put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. 54 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. In the 55th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. If Ladislao Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Măcrinici took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Gerazan in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Ladislao Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Ladislao Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Jano Paes. After having played for 78 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Ladislao Gerazan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gerazan in the 90th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
