Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Nourredine Aggoune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute, Dan Lennartsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 10 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sungur Rehber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Rehber in the 12th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Ribba's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sungur Rehber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute FC Ribba were awarded a corner. Anton Vinström went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC Ribba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nourredine Aggoune quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Sungur Rehber put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. In the 29th minute, Sungur Rehber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 31st minute. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Sungur Rehber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute FC Ribba were awarded a corner. Anton Vinström went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Ribba's corner Anton Vinström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungur Rehber in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Netherlands! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sungur Rehber was the one to do the kick off. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nourredine Aggoune having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nourredine Aggoune made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Wim Wilmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nourredine Aggoune was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Nourredine Aggoune came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 75th minute, Lars Meesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nourredine Aggoune was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC Ribba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Almstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nourredine Aggoune showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nourredine Aggoune was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, FC Ribba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Ladio to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of FC Ribba's Nourredine Aggoune. Nourredine Aggoune was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Holm in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Ribba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
