Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Horaţiu Măcrinicis short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17thth minute of the game Horaţiu Măcrinici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th play minute Ladislao Gerazan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 1-0. After 27 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Gerazan in the 31st minute. Ladislao Gerazan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a Nova Iguaçu MZFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horaţiu Măcrinici was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ödön Zsinka to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Ladislao Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Gerazan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 60thth minute of the game Horaţiu Măcrinici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Horaţiu Măcrinici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici. But to his dismay, Horaţiu Măcrinici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 77th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Horaţiu Măcrinici scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germany's attentive Janik Vogt managed to snatch the ball when Ovidio Marko made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 84th minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horaţiu Măcrinici's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Horaţiu Măcrinici sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 88th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. Ovidio Marko shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Gerazan came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nova Iguaçu MZFC:s goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nova Iguaçu MZFC had played much better football throughout.
