Fortunato Froněk might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Froněk ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hugon Brzakala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Brzakala in the 22nd minute of the match. Gocław Wilga Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fortunato Froněk took the corner. In the 31st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
