Juan Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Bilyan Kraev made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pencho Beshovishki in the 15th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Yonko Krashevski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Tzvetoslav Chalúmov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ФК ОВЕЧ and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ФК ОВЕЧ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tzvetoslav Chalúmov hit a great ball. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Estevon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Arnulfo Sugoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Arnulfo Sugoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Estevon saved ФК ОВЕЧ from getting behind.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilyan Kraev in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ФК ОВЕЧ's Geno Poptodorov got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Arnulfo Sugoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilyan Kraev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by ФК ОВЕЧ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ФК ОВЕЧ's goalie and right to Janik Vogt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ФК ОВЕЧ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 82nd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ФК ОВЕЧ's Bilyan Kraev got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delyan Latinov hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Bilyan Kraev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ФК ОВЕЧ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
