Henrich Slany acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Waldemar Gorzkiewicz. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Gorzkiewicz. 13 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Claus came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janusz Wielowiejski might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janusz Wielowiejski ran back to his position shaking his head. Janusz Wielowiejski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Silvestre Claus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henrich Slany. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Janusz Wielowiejski managed to get in a good position for a shot. F. C. Clonmels Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Janusz Wielowiejski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Metod Mlynar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Claus in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, F. C. Clonmels Devils's Janusz Wielowiejski got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Kornel Jahoda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slovakia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F. C. Clonmels Devils the free kick. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Claus in the 34th minute of play. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobald Hryc in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Kaan Kaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Claus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobald Hryc to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Silvestre Claus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Claus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kornel Jahoda hit a great ball. F. C. Clonmels Devils's Gwidon Czeszyk got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonatan De Vlaeminck having to interfere. If Kaan Kaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Kaa in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Vavrinec Koleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the F. C. Clonmels Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. F. C. Clonmels Devils made a substitution. Beniamin Gollob replaced Gwidon Czeszyk. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Teobald Hryc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F. C. Clonmels Devils's Bulus Bülbül got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 80 minutes, Teobald Hryc made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Claus in the 87th minute of play. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by F. C. Clonmels Devils's Kaan Kaa. But to his dismay, Kaan Kaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When F. C. Clonmels Devils's Silvestre Claus in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that F. C. Clonmels Devils were the better team. F. C. Clonmels Devils's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
