Greenhall FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boddibevve McWill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Baken got a freekick which was hit by Ted van Zijl. Boddibevve McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoon Halen having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Boddibevve McWill took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Antoon Halen to make any attempt to save it. After 83 played minutes Baken got a freekick which was hit by Ted van Zijl. In the 86th minute, Tommie de Vos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salmon McIan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Baken's Antoon Halen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randal McIan in the 93rd minute of play. Salmon McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roel Ijkwezen in the 95th minute of the match.
