Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Alejo Eleazar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Artur Boruc came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luo Wei Xi to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alejo Eleazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Eleazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Turek to maneuver through the defense. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Andy Symons got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joga Bonito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
