A collision led to EK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cido Fernandez hit a great ball. Denimir Bebin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 4th minute of play. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. EK's Denimir Bebin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denimir Bebin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EK's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denimir Bebin came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after EK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. In the 32nd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denimir Bebin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denimir Bebin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when İlbey Denizalp came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Boros Benedek put in a rough tackle. 43 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a long run with the ball, İlbey Denizalp did a trick in the 45th minute in front of Hungary's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. Denimir Bebin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, one of Hungary:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hungary. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for EK. İlbey Denizalp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fodor Daniel. 2-0. With a little luck, EK's Denimir Bebin got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denimir Bebin made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, İlbey Denizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İlbey Denizalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlbey Denizalp in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Denimir Bebin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denimir Bebin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Takacs Tibor in the 89th minute. Volodya Robov struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EK. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because EK had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
