After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Takacs Tibor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kryspin Cupial quite easily take care of the ball. Cosa nostra Lyon's Kryspin Cupial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 14th minute of play. Uwe Birmes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Félicien Boidin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 21st minute Uwe Birmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Cupial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Quintana in the 51st minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Birmes in the 52nd minute of the match.
