Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Jilek started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Krzysztof Prus got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Krzysztof Prus lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 6 played minutes GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Prus. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Erik Jilek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czech Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Jilek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Turek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Leszek Tusk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vavrinec Holub but with some difficulty. Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Iwo Kuszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwo Kuszczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 18 minutes, Erik Jilek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Erik Jilek hit a great ball. Jan Turek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Rezek, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Erik Jilek didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jan Turek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Dostal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Czech Republic were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Iwo Kuszczak made the kick off in the second half. Erik Jilek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kvetoslav Janku charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kvetoslav Janku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Kvetoslav Janku. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Pilarczyk in the 57th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Franzik hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Franzik in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Wawrzyniec Franzik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Wawrzyniec Franzik got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Turek made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when David Rusil sent off a good shot on target. Iwo Kuszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Iwo Kuszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Kuszczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kvetoslav Janku didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Denis Dostal took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jan Turek to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Czech Republic eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
