When Eloy Abastas fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Boca Jrs MdP's protests and gave Eloy Abastas a yellow card for diving instead. Eloy Abastas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Eric Thomi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Samuele Kunz scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes, Aaron Dolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Boca Jrs MdP and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gaston Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Rodrigo von Känel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CA Boca Jrs MdP's Gaston Lucero. Gaston Lucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaston Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gaston Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 22nd minute of play. Gaston Lucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fridolin Neumeister in the 29th minute of the match. Rodrigo von Känel scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Jacinto Maurer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Switzerland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Boca Jrs MdP the free kick. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs MdP booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Maurer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the CA Boca Jrs MdP defense, Samuele Kunz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Lucero. The CA Boca Jrs MdP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Lucero should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Samuele Kunz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Gaston Lucero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustav Iseli made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CA Boca Jrs MdP's Urbano Boni. In the 42nd minute, Rodrigo von Känel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Gaston Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Samuele Kunz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Lucero was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After 47 minutes of play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Lucero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Switzerland were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Switzerland were awarded a corner. Samuele Kunz went to the cornerflag to take it. Gaston Lucero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuele Kunz in the 56th minute. Gaston Lucero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuele Kunz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Samuele Kunz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Lucero. Samuele Kunz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 64th play minute Samuele Kunz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaston Lucero. 0-10. 70 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo von Känel came free, but Gaston Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Lucero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuele Kunz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 71 minute of play. In the 75th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gaston Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Maurer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Samuele Kunz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gaston Lucero made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Rodrigo von Känel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaston Lucero. The goal made the score 0-13. The throw-in from Gustav Iseli in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CA Boca Jrs MdP's Urbano Boni. Samuele Kunz in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaston Lucero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaston Lucero made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jacinto Maurer sent off a good shot on target. 98 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goalkeeper Gaston Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Maurer.
