FC BAYERN MUNCHEN EV.'s Petruț Chirnoagă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petruț Chirnoagă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Petruț Chirnoagă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 18th minute of the match. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliyan Balachev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Emiliyan Balachev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Jurgiel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Casper Claes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Troy Holstein got free with Casper Claes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play forced FC BAYERN MUNCHEN EV.'s goalkeeper Petruț Chirnoagă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petruț Chirnoagă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siebe Michiels in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Chirnoagă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alfred Jurgiel sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Chirnoagă. FC BAYERN MUNCHEN EV.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliyan Balachev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petruț Chirnoagă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Petruț Chirnoagă made a huge save. Floris Claeys hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliyan Balachev in the 65th minute of play. Petruț Chirnoagă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Vanderstraeten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Petruț Chirnoagă in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Chirnoagă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC BAYERN MUNCHEN EV.'s Petruț Chirnoagă. Petruț Chirnoagă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wladyslaw Borczak hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The FC BAYERN MUNCHEN EV. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
