Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. Club Almirante Brown's Ermegildo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes Club Almirante Brown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Takacs Tibor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 28th minute of play. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Club Almirante Brown's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Major Barna heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Pacorro having to interfere. Ermegildo Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Pacorro having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Abascal's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Abascal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Oscar Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Club Almirante Brown's Ermegildo Pacorro got control of the ball when Bakos Endre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Chale came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 66th minute. Oscar Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guido Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balazs Lajos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ermegildo Pacorro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 80th minute. Aldo Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Ermegildo Pacorro in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Almirante Brown.
