Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone. But to his dismay, Alexander Bottone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Siricio Liotta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Rotili. A.S. Udinese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siricio Liotta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili. Alvaro Rotili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Fortunato Angelucci got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Bruno Maranzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Bottone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberigo Di Franco in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Bottone. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Alexander Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Rotili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 71 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sostene Vitulli. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bottone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Alvaro Rotili to make any attempt to save it. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alvaro Rotili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Alessio Zoccali hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Rotili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Curto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 92 minute of play. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
