Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Gervasi in the 16th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Clint Barton sent off a good shot on target. Carmine Di Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 22nd minute of the match. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cimone's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of play forced Cimone's goalkeeper Carmine Di Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Cimone's protests and gave Clint Barton a yellow card for diving instead. After 49 played minutes Cimone got a freekick which was hit by Clint Barton. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Damian Valdevielso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Valdevielso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Clint Barton came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clint Barton in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Carmine Di Rocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Di Rocco came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Balazs Lajos. But to his dismay, Balazs Lajos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Carmine Di Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clint Barton in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carmine Di Rocco could save by the left post. Carmine Di Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cimone the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balazs Lajos to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cimone throughout the match.
