But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Incera. Campanar City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Mateo Pastor hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Santo Incera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of play forced Campanar City's goalkeeper Santo Incera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kingston Mønster in the 24th minute of the match. Santo Incera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kingston Mønster. After 31 minutes of play, Campanar City's John Guidetti made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Unai Ladra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, John Guidetti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Santo Incera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Campanar City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unai Ladra to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Santo Incera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, John Guidetti notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Guidetti in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Santo Incera however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Guidetti in the 59th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Incera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 60th minute of play. Marcus Ahlberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Campanar City got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Ahlberg. In the 73rd minute Wei Qi Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Campanar City's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Santo Incera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 79th minute of play forced Campanar City's goalkeeper Santo Incera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santo Incera. That made the score 2-3 after 83 minutes of play. Wei Qi Yi took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Sijmen Clous kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santo Incera. That made the score 3-4 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Campanar City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
