Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Marcus Abrahamsson from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Fodor Daniel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 9th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Maslachenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 12 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix Kazachenok who took care of the corner kick. After 17 minutes, Pavel Vorobiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperance and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esperance's Vladimír Maslachenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 20th minute of play. Marat Gusakov charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marat Gusakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Esperance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marat Gusakov to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Bram Boonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Abrahamsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fodor Daniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Abrahamsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleb Elkibaev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Gleb Elkibaev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gleb Elkibaev really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gleb Elkibaev was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Esperance's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Vladimír Maslachenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balazs Lajos's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Vladimír Maslachenko - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Esperance's Vladimír Maslachenko. Vladimír Maslachenko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gleb Elkibaev took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimír Maslachenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Esperance's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Vladimír Maslachenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 63rd minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimír Maslachenko quite easily take care of the ball. Vladimír Maslachenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 65th minute. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Vladimír Maslachenko in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bram Boonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimír Maslachenko made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Esperance's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimír Maslachenko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimír Maslachenko having to interfere. Esperance's Gavriil Dolgachev was substituted for Marcus Abrahamsson. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Felix Kazachenok put in a rough tackle. Esperance's Yakov Grafin was substituted for Arkadiy Sitnik. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Esperance:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. In the 87th minute of the game, Hungary got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Gleb Elkibaev's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gleb Elkibaev helped the player get up and apologised. Gleb Elkibaev kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bram Boonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
