Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alin Teodorescu got the match started through his kick off. Nicodim Iacobeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Fc Otelul Galati getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Andrei Măgură hit a great ball. Ioan Cipău was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Fc Otelul Galati's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 18th minute of the match, Alin Teodorescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Teodorescu in the 19th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Ioan Cipău capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ioan Cipău really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Alin Teodorescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Boerescu in the 27th minute of the match. If Aristide Drăgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Otelul Galati's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicodim Iacobeanu came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu. Nicodim Iacobeanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Malte Schiele fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodim Iacobeanu saved Fc Otelul Galati from getting behind.

In the 51st minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Iacobeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nicodim Iacobeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodim Iacobeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Teodorescu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Teodorescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Teodorescu in the 67th minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Fc Otelul Galati's Alin Teodorescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Teodorescu in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Fc Otelul Galati booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball.
