If Alex Serban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zula Kosiorek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 23rd minute of play. Zula Kosiorek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Alex Serban made a precise shot to the right of Zula Kosiorek. Szczakowianka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Romania booed when Szczakowianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Guo Ran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Kosiorek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Szczakowianka's Wladyslaw Magdziarz was substituted for Leo Eguzki. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Perkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Zula Kosiorek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Stinga in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavian Vaduva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zula Kosiorek. That made the score 0-6 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Romania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Szczakowianka.
